The main purpose of this work is to enrich knowledge in the field of state-business relations in Russia, especially in the context of business associations’ tactics against violent pressure. For these reason, I interviewed 2 representatives of business associations and 1 entrepreneur, using the methodology of semi-structured interviewing. This approach allowed me to test different experimental hypothesis, which academic literature have not included. Interviews were compared with quantitive analysis of articles about violent pressure taken from mass media sources for the last 4 years (2014 - 2018). In general, the solid classification of tactics, which business associations use in order to restrict violent pressure was obtained. Thus, tactics can be divided on «tactics for individual cases», such as personal appeals of the heads of associations, «tactics for systems», such as legislative analysis and «monitoring tactics», such as researches.
