Since the beginning of the 2000s, the movement of kin`s domain settlements , which have now become the most common type of eco-settlements in Russia, has been gaining popularity. This phenomenon, which is taking over more and more citizens and regions of the Russian Federation, is poorly understood, especially the interaction of people living in settlements with representatives of government structures. The purpose of the study: to identify on what issues and how the inhabitants of kin`s domain settlements interact with the state and local authorities. As for the attitude of the authorities to the residents of kin`s domain settlements, among them are those who support, "cover" and those who treat negatively, considers sectarians and strongly opposes. Residents of kin`s domain settlements often interact with the authorities on land, urban planning, agricultural issues, participation in district events (holidays, fairs, competitions), the organization of separate garbage collection, on issues of children's education, registration.
