Change in the Presentation of the World and lifestyle of People Who Have Passed the Vipassana Meditation Course

This master's degree is devoted to the study of changes in the image of the world and the way of life of people who have completed Vipassana's meditative practice. In this paper, a theoretical analysis of the concepts of "image of the world" and "lifestyle", their specificity and structural models. In this paper, an attempt is made to study the nuclear layer of the image of the world by referring to A.Langle's theory of existential analysis-the content of four fundamental motivations. A theoretical review of meditative practices (genesis, process, species, influence, scientific and practical significance) was carried out. The specifics of the Vipassana meditation practice chosen for the study are described in detail, the features of the 10-day training course are outlined, the foreign studies of this practice are analyzed. The empirical part of this study consists of several stages: the collection of expert opinion (among psychologists with experience in the Vipassana meditation course) in order to confirm the research question and prepare for the main part of the study; conducting qualitative research using semi-structured interviews, and then processing the data according to the method of thematic analysis of a sound theory. Six experts and 12 respondents participated in the study. During the analysis of the obtained data, changes in the way of life and the image of the world of people who have completed Vipassana meditation course are revealed and described in detail.
