The topic of the thesis is "The role of attention in visual language information processing: an EEG study” and it involves EEG 128-channel recording. We tested the hypothesis that words, unlike pseudowords, elicit automatic stable brain response both in attend and non-attend conditions, which would be evidence for stable lexical circuits in the brain; we also aimed at researching timing of these automated responses and contributing to mapping the mental lexicon
