The Analysis of the Source of Business Financing

The following work considers modern sources of business financing and methods of their assessment in order to choose the most beneficial one. In the course of the work, an algorithm for deciding on the source of funding is compiled and applied in practice. For this purpose, the paper is based on a literature review of works of Russian and foreign authors, as well as on the conducted interviews with top managers of two different companies that are in search for funding of different volume. The obtained data was evaluated in the Project Expert program. In the first chapter, the list of considered sources of business financing was compiled and classified; criteria for their assessment were selected and the tools for that assessment were described. As the result, an algorithm for selecting the source of financing was compiled. In the second chapter, there was made an analysis of the potential sources of funding for two different companies: Forpost LLC, which operates in commercial real estate market, and the FX Coin project related to cryptocurrencies. In both cases the conducted analysis of the companies showed the expediency of using the equity financing from private investors by selling a part of the company. The conclusion was made about the universality and convenience of this method of fundraising, and the ways of finding such investors were briefly described. The received and systematized information can be used by a wide range of entrepreneurs and financial managers, as it forms a clear understanding of the possibilities of obtaining funds for business development and the tools for their analysis.
