Nowadays many management decisions are based on ratings. The main purpose of rating is to provide the interested party with not only quantitative but ualitative characteristics of the certain objects. Unlike rating methods based on summation, noncompensatory model enables us to put on the first rating positions such alternatives which do not have hidden deffects compensated by higher grades on other characteristics. Application of noncompensatory model is intensively studied. However, it is vital for decision making to have an opportunity to restore the set of grades for every alternative. The aggregated value obtained from the sum of grades does not allow us to restore the initial set of grades. In the present paper the algorithm based on the noncompensatory model which restores the set of grades for the alternative by its aggregated value is presented and mathematically proved. This makes management decision making more effective, transparent and beneficial.
