This work is devoted to the development of methods that make it possible to simplify the process of creating a topology of a telecommunications network that has optimal indicators of reliability and cost. The work considers the importance of solving the problem of reliability analysis of data transmission networks. Here the necessity of constant working capacity of a network of information transmission in the conditions of conducting modern business is considered. The work describes a method for analyzing the structural reliability of a network, using the formula for approximate estimation of connectivity, which requires finding the whole set of minimal cuts. The work reviewed and critically analyzed approaches to the solution of optimization and multicriteria problems, and presented an algorithm for finding the set of Pareto optimal solutions. The work contains a study and description of the decision-making process by the telecom operator when upgrading the network, and a description of the program that implements the methods studied.
