This paper examines the impact of changes in the ruble exchange rate and its volatility on the amount of money exports. The study uses monthly exports of customs statistics in the context of industries for the period from January 2004 to December 2016. To evaluate the indicators, an autoregressive model with a distributed lag (ADRL) is used. This paper tests the hypothesis that the devaluation of the ruble contributes to the growth of Russian exports, and the volatility of the ruble contributes to its decline.
