Year of Graduation: 2018

The electric network is the main element of the power system, which provides reception of electricity from power plants, its transmission over different distances, the transformation of the parameters of electricity at substations and its distribution over a certain territory, up to direct consumers. The reliability and quality of power supply to consumers depends largely on the capacity of electrical networks and reliable operation of all its elements. Therefore, at the present time it is necessary to develop methods of structural design and modernization of electric power networks, namely the solution of problems of building an optimal network topology according to the criteria of fault tolerance, reliability and cost.
