My final paper is devoted to a research of an image of the revolutionary female in memoirs of participants of the “Populist Movement”. I tried to define memoirs texts exist, to establish the reasons that influenced creation of these memoirs and, also, to track which of women were most often represented in “Populist Movement” memoirs. The comparative analysis of memoirs texts and their placing into historical context, have allowed to define what portraits of revolutionaries were created by memoirists and what influenced formation of such images. Also, the research assumed studying of a "men's" and "female" view of a problem and identification of gender features in texts of “Populist Movement” members.
