Hochschild Homology and Cohomology for Categories

A description of the Mukai pairing on the Hochschild homology of a smooth projective complex variety by Caldararu and Willerton is given in more explicit terms. Some ideas on generalizing it to triangulated categories generated by exceptional bases, are considered, and the equivalence of a version of Hochschild cohomology for such categories, and categorical Hochschild cohomology is explained.
