Model of Pre-University Preparation of the Lyceum for Gifted Children of the Kemerovo Region with a Focus on Key Sectors of the Regional Economy

The paper discusses the possibility and feasibility of creating in the Kemerovo region a first social infrastructure object, including a boarding school for gifted children, focused on training personnel for key sectors of the regional economy. The authors analyze the reasons that led to the search for ways to change the pre-university training in the Kemerovo region, using the accumulated positive experience in the Russian Federation. The authors substantiated the most successful model of creation and configuration of a specialized lyceum in the region.
