In this work, we calculated the reliability of the power controller unit when exposed to the electrical load of the elements and the heat load on the unit. The aim of the work is to assess the reliability of the space equipment unit under conditions close to operational ones. To achieve this goal, the following tasks were formulated: to study the technical specifications and maps of the operating modes of the KP unit, obtain the failure rates of radio components and calculate the probability of failure of the entire unit, analyze and compare the FBG result with the value specified in the TOR, model the print unit and obtain load factors for ERI, analyze the coefficients and draw conclusions about the impact of thermal processes on the reliability of the unit. The obtained results of the FBG showed that the calculation without taking into account thermal effects shows only an approximate value. Thus, it is necessary to additionally carry out thermal modelling, which will show a more accurate value of the FBG during operation in the space environment.
