Legal Regulation of Employment and Occupation

The work considers the legal regulation of employment in the Russian Federation. The relevance of the topic is due to the socio-economic and national strategic importance of ensuring the optimal state of the labor market. For public administration, social policy provides for the main line of activity of the state in promoting employment, which should ensure the protection of both potential employees and employers. The author in this work attempted to identify the main problems of legal regulation of employment based on an analysis of the legal aspects of employment, as well as exploring the features of employment of three categories of citizens: people with disabilities, young people and people of pre-retirement age as well as the main regulations governing employment and measures taken today by the state, the bureaucratic features of registration of the unemployed, and the subject composition of employment relations are identified.
