Analysis, Design and Optimization of Business Processes in the ERP System by the Example of a Particular Company

Final qualifying paper is devoted to the actual topics of analysis, development and optimization of enterprise business processes. Research of the current state of the Russian market of ERP systems including analysis of their functionality is conducted. Typical solutions for enterprise resource planning are considered. Knowledge and practical experience in the field of implementing ERP-systems in the enterprise environment are systematized. The most common problems that might appear during the processes of selection and implementation of ERP-systems are studied. Analysis of business process modeling methodologies, in particular IDEF0, IDEF3, DFD, ARIS, is carried out. A separate chapter is devoted to the development of business processes in order to offer options for optimizing current business processes on the example of a company distributing medical equipment. The results obtained in this paper are of interest both to academics engaged in research related to the field of modeling and optimization of business processes, and to business community.
