The purpose of the master's thesis is to analyze the awareness of St. Petersburg citizens about the spread of HIV – infection. Object of study - citizens of St. Petersburg. The tasks of the dissertation research are the following tasks: 1. To analyze the approaches, mechanisms and activities of NGOs in the relationship of the state and society; 2. To consider the implementation of the state strategy of counteracting the spread of HIV – infection in the Russian Federation for the period up to 2020 and beyond; 3. Formulate a methodology for researching public awareness of HIV – infection; 4. To analyze the results of the study; All tasks set in this final qualifying work were completed in full.
