The subject of research is the regulation of transport employees’ work. Since vehicles and machines are sources of increased danger, the state imposes some increased requirements for this category. The attention paid to these requirements and considers what are the requirements for employees when concluding an employment contract, what are the features of time and rest, and what is the feature of disciplinary responsibility. The research set out to describe the characteristics of the regulation of labor of transport workers. Firstly, will be studied the basic concepts and basic sources that regulate the work of this group of individual types of workers. Secondly, it is important to be clear about the differences in the labor relations of transport workers from ordinary workers. Finally, will be provided a closer look at what act governs certain relationships in different types of transport. Thus, having studied and analyzed the majority of the acts mentioned above, in this research mentioned: how an employment contract is concluded with transport workers, namely what requirements are imposed on physical characteristics, the presence of special licenses or certificates, as well as medical examinations; what are the features of the calculation of labor time and rest time, the importance of breaks during the working day for rest and restoring concentration; the characteristic of disciplinary responsibility in view of the particular danger that vehicles incur. Since this research was aimed at finding actual problems, we also found that one of the main problems is the problem of a large number of secondary legislation governing this type of relationship. So, there are provisions that largely repeat the codes, and some even contradict.
