Development of the Portal for Linguistic Research: User Interface Customization Subsystem

This work represents the results of the implementation of final qualifying work on the design and development of the subsystem customization of the user interface for the portal of linguistic research. The portal is designed to analyze the style of scientific texts in English based on the methods of corpus linguistics, in particular the method of the reference corpuses. The portal should help in the analysis of various large corpuses, obtaining statistics and checking the compliance of the text with a specific functional style. The task was to think over this system from the point of view of UX / UI, review the existing portal interface, think over and provide flexible customization of the user interface for themselves, a convenient, ergonomic and modern visual view of the main portal pages and implement them. The work presents a description of all stages of analysis, design and development of a subsystem, including the necessary tables, graphs and charts. The main users of the portal will be qualified linguists, as well as those who wish to verify the compliance of the text with one or another functional style. 2019 Publishing House - Department of Information Technologies in Business, HSE-Perm.
