Market of Betting Services in Russia: Features of Promotion, Development and Government Regulation

The betting services industry has been actively developing in recent years in Russia. Being a part of the gambling market - betting services are closely monitored by the goverment. Actively increasing the number of players, growing market volume, aggressive marketing, increasing administrative and tax burden - these are components of the sports betting industry today. To identify the prospects and the main trends of state regulation of the market for betting services and the advertising opportunities used by bookmakers is the purpose of this study. A wide range of sources attempted a comprehensive analysis of the sports betting industry and identified potential areas for its development.
