Spousal Interaction Features of Young and Middle-aged Women with Different Attachment Styles

Changing conditions in the modern world bring new trends in many areas of human life, changing ways of communication and interaction between people. However, meeting the need for open communication and emotional intimacy in the romantic partners relationship is still key factor for the reliable union creation. The study explores the relationship between the communication characteristics of young and middle-aged women (in a relationship) and different styles of attachment, likewise the intentional meaning and content of communication messages to the partners. In the study the methods of quantitative and qualitative analysis are used. The results allow to go to conclusion that: young women are more likely to experience ease of communication and similarity in views with their spouse, they are less likely to feel avoidance in relationships than middle-aged women; women with a more reliable style of attachment are more satisfied with communication and relationships with a partner than women with unreliable styles; spousal interaction of women with different attachment styles has different characteristics and intentional orientation.
