In the context of textual criticism analyzing structural and genre peculiarities of any ancient text is an essential part of its study since it can provide scholars with deep insight into its’ creation method and content. This thesis presents a detailed analysis of structure and genres of 1st, 2nd and 3rd Chapters of ancient philosophical treatise Huainan-zi and discusses its’ creation way. With the help of quantitative method author addresses all the questions raised in this work.
