The thesis is devoted to the research of format television approaches in the production of audiovisual projects on the Internet. The work methodology will include such methods as system analysis of components of television formats, dramatic analysis of Internet shows, classification of audiovisual projects on the Internet, comparative analysis of online-projects and shows of the corresponding format on television. The research sample includes 9 popular Internet shows of various formats. The study revealed that over time, video content on the Internet has changed in accordance with the principles of creating television programs. Authors of popular channels began to use television approaches for creating content, many new shows were created, and, what is more, well-known video projects were transformed and reformatted to increase the number of views and attract new viewers. The main distinguishing features are that each project is produced by a large video production or a film crew and the dramaturgy, structure and characters coincide with the television format ones.
