Post-crisis Period Factors of Spain Real Estate Growth

This diploma on the theme of Post-crisis Period Factors of Spain Real Estate Growth is divided into three parts. In the first Chapter, the author identifies the key factors of growth of the real estate market in Spain before the crisis from the side of supply and demand, and also explains the impact of the construction sector on the growth of the Spanish economy. In the second part of the work, the author identifies the main reasons of "overheating" of the Spanish real estate market, which led to the explosion of the ‘mortgage bubble’. In addition, the author examines the impact of the global financial and economic crisis of 2008 on the Spanish real estate market. The final part of the diploma thesis is devoted to the prospects of the development of the Spanish construction sector in the post-crisis period. The author identifies the key drivers of supply and demand in the real estate market in Spain. The regional features of the recovery of the real estate market are also studied by the author, as well as the prospects for the development of the construction segment in the medium term. The main purpose of this work is to analyze the post-crisis period factors of Spain real estate growth. To achieve this goal, the author identifies the key factors of growth of demand and supply on the real estate before and after the crisis, considers the causes of ‘overheating’ of the Spanish real estate market, studies the regional features of the recovery of the country's real estate market. Finally, while making a conclusion, the author highlights the fact that there are many different factors of development of the Spanish real estate market in the post-crisis period, but the majority of them is directly related to the demographic changes. The results of this paper can be useful for Russians who invest in the Spanish real estate market.
