Expedition to Tomsk. Short Documentary Movie (Creative Format)

The work «Expedition to Tomsk. Short documentary movie. Creative format» is about the creation of the short documentary movie based on theoretical references. In an introduction, there are the tasks, relevance, and significance of this work. The main research is separated into two parts. The first part is dedicated to theoretical reference about a modern documentary, based on the professional literature (Bruzzi, Rabiger, Bird) and three documentary series «Explained» (2018), «7 days out» (2018) and «Salt Fat Acid Heat» (2018) on the platform Netflix. The second part is dedicated to the experience of creating the movie about the club for internet and society enthusiasts and their expeditions in Russia. The main question of the movie is «Why should we study the Internet?». In this part are presented the experience of writing the script, filming in Tomsk (Russia) and editing processes. At the end of this work, there is a conclusion about achieved results and a list of the references.
