Transformation of News Programs as the Tool to Boost the Audience’s Interest to Sports Topic

The study focuses on sports news blocks in news programs on television in Russia, USA and Great Britain. We will describe the structure and special features of television in the USA, Great Britain and Russia and sport television in these countries. We will also analyze the broadcast of major sporting events in information programs on television in the USA, Great Britain and Russia on dates when major sporting events took place in the world or in the country where the program was broadcast. The study also involves an analysis of the final ratings of broadcasts on Russian television in 2018 and an analysis of the rating of news programs for the same period. We will find out practical steps to transform information programs on television as a tool to boost the audience's interest to sports topic.
