The Features of Russia's Trade Policy after Accession to the WTO

This master's thesis reflects the theoretical and practical aspects of the economic analysis of the consequences of the Russian Federation's accession to the WTO in 2012. The question of the results of Russia's accession to the world trade organization (WTO) that has both positive and negative sides determines the relevance of this thesis. The size of the thesis is 91 pages. It contains 24 figures, 6 tables and 1 Appendix. 84 sources of literature were used for the research. The study identified the direction and content of the WTO, as well as the features of the current stage of development of the organization. In order to formulate conclusions about the effect of Russia's participation in the WTO on the country's trade policy, an economic analysis of the WTO's impact on the agro-industrial complex, the metallurgy industry and the chemical and pharmaceutical industry of the Russian Federation was carried out. As a result, the conclusions of the master's thesis allowed to define the prospects of Russia in the world trading system.
