Many countries pin their hopes on the way out of the current economic and political situations with the expansion of integration ties at the regional and global levels. This, in turn, is an important tool for addressing existing regional, national economic and political problems. In this regard, the study and study of the development of integration between the Eurasian economic Union and third countries is of considerable interest. The relevance of this topic is that the agreement on a free trade zone between the Eurasian economic Union and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam is the first agreement of this kind concluded by the EAEU with an external partner. Final qualifying work consists of three chapters. The first Chapter deals with the theoretical part of the subject, namely the theory of integration and the basic ideas of integration processes in the world. It also analyzes the historical background of cooperation between the countries of the Eurasian economic Union and foreign countries (Vietnam, Singapore, Iran, Israel, etc.). The second Chapter provides a comparative analysis of the trade turnover between the EAEU countries and Vietnam for the period under review. The third Chapter summarizes the first FTA agreement and recommends similar agreements with third countries. As a result of the research done, it was concluded that cooperation with Vietnam in the framework of a free trade zone will give impetus to the development of optimal and effective FTA Agreements with third countries.
