Student: Palchun Kseniya

Supervisor: Tatiana Tikhomirova

Faculty: Faculty of Creative Industries

Educational Programme: Media Communications (Bachelor)

Final Grade: 7

Year of Graduation: 2019

The process of education has changed recently: the way people used to present information in the past cannot consider successful nowadays due to major changes also in the media-sphere and in the way people understand information that is delivered. The frame of thinking in the present time is completely different as people get used to visualization of the news that are happening around so that explains the phenomenon that is called the «clip thinking». To understand a piece of new information a person should not only read it, he or she should also get something that appeals and relates to all his or her senses. The comparative analysis of traditional ways of studying and using tools providing all pros and cons of augmented reality, as well as interviews with experts, should help me identify which way of delivering information to a consumer (i.e. pupil or a student) seems to be the most successful. The anticipated result of the work will justify adjustment of working not only with workbooks and textbooks but with modern devices as well.
