The topic of the research is the distribution of the characteristic features of male and female gender roles in modern Russian cinema on the example of the blockbuster genre. The main methods of research will be: content analysis of scenarios of Russian blockbusters and the analysis of the main characters based on the main feminist liberal agenda features formed in the 90s by researchers such as Laura Mulvey, Linda Williams and Carol Glover.
