This work is the development of a series of short educational videos, telling about the iconic persona of Russian modern art. The theoretical part of the research consists of 2 blocks. The first block examines the basics of journalism and defines the educational functions of the media. The second theoretical block is devoted to various methods of learning in virtual communities, 7 Media Literacy Competencies 2.0, a digital product production cycle, and an explanation of their importance in future education. In the practical part of the work, vendor-specific explanations of content on the web are used — platforms with MOOC, huge masses of media and amateur blogs, and their innovative ways of storytelling are defined. Within the framework of this project, two scenarios were prepared: an open audience and a project on scenarios and movie visualization, content cycle, production model, budget, video, and monetization methods. Development of the script and development of the pilot video, as well as the development of elements of the corporate cycle (logo, cover and avatar for YouTube, screensavers for video previews, captions). In general, this project makes a serious contribution to the popularization of Russian contemporary art and the development of the Russian-language segment of explanatory videos.
