Non-Performing Loans' Management in a Commercial Bank

The banking system is an essential component of the national economy of any developed country. The practical role of the banking system can be determined based on the fact that in the state it carries out financial intermediation, management of the system of payments and settlements. A significant part of commercial transactions and operations is carried out through the use of current accounts, and the banking system mediates investment processes, implements credit operations, as well as carries out a General redistribution of funds in the economic system of the state. Due to the increased competition in the market, the deterioration of the financial situation of enterprises and the population and the decrease in the creditworthiness of borrowers, commercial banks are forced to note the growth of "bad debts" on their balance sheets and pay special attention to the work with bad debts arising on their balance sheets.
