Analysis and Evaluation of Agglomeration Commuter Transport System

Currently, due to high population growth rates and the active expansion of population areas within agglomerations, the need for transport services to the population is increasing. Existing transport systems are not able to meet the needs of population. Moreover, the pace of development of urban transport systems does not correspond to the pace of development of agglomerations, which does not allow agglomerations to develop quite effectively and has a negative impact on the growth of their economies. This paper is devoted to the analysis of transport systems of urban agglomerations and innovative ways to improve their efficiency. The purpose of the work is to develop measures to improve transport services to the population using innovative technologies for transporting passengers based on analysis of the state and assessment of the transport system of the St. Petersburg agglomeration. The object of the study - the transport system of agglomeration The subject of the study - methods and tools for organizing effective transport services to the population in agglomerations. The result of the work is the development of measures to improve transport services for the population of the St. Petersburg agglomeration through the introduction of magnetic transport. The work consists of 5 parts: introduction, three chapters and conclusion.
