Сircular Economy Models as a Factor of Sustainable Urban Development

One of the measures for ensuring sustainable urban development is the introduction of circular economy model. The implementation of circular economy is based on the effective waste management system, which contains separate waste collection. The relevance of introducing separate waste collection as a fundamental strategy for waste management in Russia is explained by a significant annual increase in waste. The general purpose of the study is to explore a foreign experience of solid waste management, analyze the current state of waste management process in Moscow and develop recommendations for the introduction of separate waste collection in it.
