This paper examines the factors of network corruption in post-socialist states by multilevel regression modeling. It was founded that network corruption is determined by the same set of factors as market corruption, except one specific factor which is the control of corruption, positively associated with network corruption. The existence of different dynamics in the level of network corruption in post-socialist countries was shown. Presumably, it’s related to differences in the pace and scope of socio-economic and political transformations. Thus, for the majority of post-Soviet countries, the level of network corruption increased over the period from 2010 to 2016, while for most CEE countries its decline was found.
