The main theme of the diploma project is the creation of Concept, Identity and Souvenirs for Intellectual Lifestyle Festival. This festival is intended to unite people with similar values, interests and hobbies. The concept of an intellectual lifestyle has the potential to become a movement by analogy with healthy lifestyle. Therefore, the author needed to study the material on key social movements in order to understand the main aspects of visual representation of social movements. The purpose of conducted study was to investigate social movements of the 20th and the 21st century and their visual features, to highlight basic principles and forms of its creation and representation. The key question of the study is how and with the help of which visual features people belonging to social movements demonstrate their views and beliefs. The book helps to trace patterns of how features of social movements visually differed depending on their goals and objectives. This study helped to approach the task of creating the festival identity more comprehensively.
