Analysis and Simulation of the Bounded Confidence Dynamics of the Hegselmann-Krause Type

In this paper, we study a heterogeneous model of opinion dynamics of Hegselmann-Krause type. It was shown that, in contrast to the classical model, the heterogeneous model converges to a steady state asymptotically. Using analytical and computer modeling methods, we get properties of the heterogeneous model. Some probabilistic characteristics of limiting configurations are calculated. Empirical distribution functions of the maximum number of clusters, values of the maximum cluster are obtained. To simulate the dynamics, we use Python. This thesis consists of a list of titles, an introduction, the main part containing 3 chapters, a conclusion, the list of references and application. The total amount of work is 64 pages.
