The Ways of Increasing Competitiveness of Russian Companies on the Global Gas Market (on the Example of «Gazprom» Company)

This paper focuses on the competitiveness of Gazprom on the global gas market. The purpose of the work is to identify the ways of increasing the company's competitiveness level on the case of Gazprom company. The first chapter represents the theoretical aspects of the competitiveness of companies in the global market. Further, factors affecting the competitiveness of international companies were analyzed and the description of the main methods of assessing competitiveness were provided. The second part is devoted to the global gas market and the place of PJSC Gazprom in it. The third part assesses the level of competitiveness of PJSC Gazprom, and suggests ways of improving it. Analysis of the competitiveness of PJSC Gazprom identified that the main problems for the company's competitiveness are insufficient development of R & D, and it was also identified that the company needs to develop its LNG operations.
