State Policy on Slavery in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Various forms of slavery still exist in the modern world, even though during the 19-20th centuries the world community as a whole came to formally condemn slavery. The author of this work seeks to analyze the historical position of slavery in Saudi Arabia, evaluate the effectiveness of state policy in relation to this phenomenon, as well as compare the positions of state power and other public institutions on this issue. For this paper were studied various sources. Among them are official documents, media materials, eyewitness memories.
