The Changing Status of Women: Labor Market of Japan

The current study gives a comparative analysis of women's status on the labor market of modern Japan. Central topic of the research is the role of the incumbent prime minister of Japan Abe Shinzo and his cabinet's recent policy which is aimed to provide economic empowerment of women. However, it is still to be identified whether the influence of this policy is strong or not and to what extent does it comply with expected results.
