The purpose of this thesis is to find the factors affecting the level of income differentiation in different countries of the world. A review of previous studies related to this topic allowed the identification of independent variables for econometric analysis. In this paper, the models will contain spatial data and time series with appropriate approaches to their analysis. It is expected to obtain significant variables describing the differentiation of income of the population, with a rational interpretation. Finally, factors influencing income differentiation were identified, a downward trend of global inequality was discovered, and the aggregate of countries was divided into 2 groups with characteristics characterizing them.
