The present study aims to analyze the crisis of power transition from the first emperor of the Sui dynasty in China Wen-di to his son Yang-di during the period from 604 to 611 A.D. The study covers the causes affected the crisis of power transition in the Sui Empire. Implementing the method of math calculations (Deopic, 1977) we will analyze all main political figures and factions in order to expand the knowledge about inner political situation in the Sui Empire. After the translation of authentic chronicle and compiling math graphs with precise figures, it is expected to reveal genuine facts and details which will help to demonstrate the full picture of the political process. We came to the conclusion that the first emperor of the Sui Empire failed to fully implement the third stage of imperial rule - the transfer of power. Yang-di, in turn, by the end of his father’s reign had already had a strong “support” in the person of officials Yang Su and Su Wei, who remained in the leading ranks of the bureaucracy during the rule of the heir. Thanks to the classification of events by type, we were able to determine the various policies of the Sui Empire in the period under study. We noted tendencies towards the consolidation of imperial power, the strengthening of aggressive foreign policy, political and administrative centralization. Analysis of the graphs made it possible to conclude that only the moment the emperor changed his interest from military direction to others (domestic political, diplomatic) in 606 became the personification of Yang-di's transition to a new stage of government - the realization of power, which means that only in 606 the emperor completed the first stage of his rule - the period of arrival to the highest authority.
