Year of Graduation: 2019

This work is devoted to the study of the impact of one of the priority national projects "Northern sea route" on the Russian economy. The largest Russian companies with clear plans for the development of the NSR (Rosneft and NOVATEK) at the time of April 2019 were selected for the study. In the course of the study, we used gravity models and other econometric tools to assess the effect of the change in the supply route of these two companies, which will occur due to the implementation of the national project. In addition, we tried to estimate the amount of change in transit through the NSR after the implementation of all activities of the national project and also calculated the amount of money that Russia will be able to earn.
