The Role of Germany in the European Security System at the Current Stage

Currently there is a crisis of political leadership in Germany, as well as a crisis of trust and solidarity in Europe. In our study we have examined the role of Germany in the development of the European security system in the context of modern challenges. We considered theoretical approaches to the this system, analysed the history of the system and its development at the current stage, analyzed the main challenges and trends in European security and Germany's approach to these problems. Key words: Germany, European security, NATO.
