The Problem of Shared Intentionality in Evolutionary Models of Metacognition

The problem of cognition is one of the fundamental themes of philosophical discipline since its inception. The shift of focus from external objects to the internal cognitive ability of a person allowed focusing on the problem of man's knowledge of his own cognitive ability, that is metacognition, an important component of which is intentionality. This thesis is devoted to the study of the problem of shared intentionality in evolutionary models of metacognition. The aim of the thesis was to identify the role of shared attention in the context of metacognition, as well as to identify problems and cognitive distortions associated with this phenomenon.
