Identification of Factors of Contemporary Artists' Pictures from 1950 to 2010 years

The theme of this Graduation Qualification Work is “Identifying the cost factors of paintings by contemporary artists from 1950 to 2010” - within the framework of which a study was conducted. The problem addressed in this article is that most approaches to the value of objects of art are not applicable due to the specifics of the market for works of art. The relevance of the study due to the fact that the global art market there has been a significant increase in sales when considering the retrospectives of recent years. The purpose of this work is to identify the factors affecting the cost of paintings painted from 1950 to 2010, sold at auctions in 2000 to 2018, as well as an assessment of the strength of the relationship between cost and factors. The study will be based on the following tasks: 1) the study of scientific literature on the art market, in particular, describing the auction of art, as well as analysis of research on the pricing of art objects; 2) collection of a unique database for the study of pricing factors; 3) building an effective econometric model; 4) analysis of the results of the regression model;
