Formation of the Image of National Anti-corruption Strategies in the information Space of the Republic of Kazakhstan

Final qualifying work on the topic: «Formation of the image of National Anti-corruption Strategies in the information Space of the Republic of Kazakhstan». In work 70 pages containing 2 tables, 17 bibliographic sources, 1 application. Key words: corruption, image, Anti-corruption Strategy, information Space, anti-corruption, Kazakhstan. The object of the research is publications in the media devoted to covering the implementation of the strategy, and the subject of the research is the mechanism of forming the image of existing anti-corruption strategies in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The work consists of introduction, four chapters, conclusion, bibliography and application. The introduction contains the goal set for the author, formulates the research objectives, defines the relevance of the topic, identifies the problem, the theoretical framework of the study, and raises the research questions. The first chapter is devoted to the study of the role of the state and civil society in countering corruption, examines the possibilities of everyone to work in this direction. Given the interpretation of the concept of «strategy», according to available research. There is also information about the Anti-Corruption Strategy of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2015-2025. In the second chapter, the author interprets the concepts of «image», «information space». It is considered how the state information policy can function. The third chapter describes the state of affairs in counteracting corruption in Kazakhstan today. The mechanisms, pros and cons of the work of the relevant authorities in this direction are described. The fourth part is practical. A discourse analysis of publications in the media that cover the implementation of the Anti-Corruption Strategy of the Republic of Kazakhstan was conducted. In addition, the practical part contains 2 expert interviews. In conclusion, the main conclusions are presented: a high level of control over the context and discourse in the country provides inefficient ways of shaping the image of government decisions; the implemented state information policy regarding the Anti-Corruption Strategy does not meet all the requirements of objectivity - there is an abuse of power in controlling the context. Also, the conclusion is that the formation of a successful image of government decisions can be facilitated by the additional capabilities of media editorial staff, which can be provided by the institution controlling discourse. The application contains 308 publications in the media, which were investigated during the work.
