Rebranding of The Freud Museum of Dreams

The fact of Freud's works influence on surrealism is undeniable. The theme of the visual research "Freud and Surrealism" is directly related to the topic of the diploma - "Rebranding of The Freud Museum of Dreams". This project analyzes the main theses of Freud's most significant works: The Interpretation of Dreams, Three Essays on the Theory of Sexuality, Beyond the Pleasure Principle, The Ego and the Id, The Future of an Illusion, Civilization and Its Discontents and visual images of the various works of the Surrealists. Each chapter of visual research consists of main themes that describe Freud's ideas. For example: sexual motives and children's mentality, mental disorders and fears, dreams, psychology of the primitive type. Each of the topics considered is reflected in the works of the Surrealists. The concept of the rebranding of the museum is based on the Freudian terminology and its interpretation.
