Statistical Analysis of Human Capital in Russia

The purpose of this study is to conduct a statistical analysis of the factors affecting human capital in Russia. The first chapter will review the main theories about human capital and highlight the existing approaches of its measurement, then the second chapter will present a comparative analysis of factors characterizing the human capital of Russia with countries of the world and by regions within the country itself. The third chapter analyzes the relationship between the determinants of human capital and economic indicators at the micro and macro levels, and examines their long-term relationships. The vector autoregressive model is estimated, which shows that human capital has a significant positive effect on economic growth in Russia between 1992 and 2017.
