Study of the Success Factors of Construction Projects (The Case of a Medical Center Renovation Project)

The construction industry is one of the main sectors of the economy - it is very difficult to overestimate its importance, which can be seen throughout the history of economic development. This study is based on an analysis of key success factors in the construction industry on the case of the reconstruction of a medical center. The importance of studying this topic is due to the development of the concept of project success and the factors that determine this success. Key success factors have changed over time, from the parameters of the “iron triangle” to complex models that include a wide variety of factors.Investigation of the key success factors - a perspective direction in the scientific community, the complexity of which lies in the fact that there is no universal list of success factors for a project; a specific list should be developed for each specific project due to its specificity, composition of the project team, complexity, scale. The result of this study was the identification of key success factors affecting the result of the project, identifying the main problems encountered in the project and developing recommendations to reduce the impact of these problems.
