Regulation of the Rental Housing Market in the Subject of the Russian Federation

The final qualifying work on the topic “Regulation of the rental housing market in a constituent entity of the Russian Federation” is devoted to the development of a pilot project to create a state single base of private rental housing that will contribute to the regulation of the rental housing market in St. Petersburg. The study highlighted the main characteristics and problems of the rental housing market, reviewed government regulation of this market, and justified the importance of developing the rental housing market in major cities. The practical result of this work was the development of a project proposal for the creation of a public single base of private rental housing in St. Petersburg with an estimate of the cost of implementing this project and with the proposed tools for the transition to officially registered rental housing through the state single base of private rental housing based on expert evaluation.
